I need a new clutch slave cylinder for my 400SE. Looking on Motaclan’s site they sell two versions. The standard one has a 7/8 inch bore. The other one has a 1 inch bore to reduce pedal pressure. They say both will work with the standard master cylinder but the larger bore slave must move the clutch lever less than the standard cylinder. So has anyone tried this larger bore cylinder? I don’t want to fit it and find I don’t have enough travel to disengage the clutch.

Hi Not answering your question directly, I replaced mine (350i) with part number FTC5202. Similar to this....

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115784103591?_skw=FTC52...

It has worked well for a few years.

This I believe is 22mm in new money or (0.866") 7/8" in proper money wink
