V6 Performance

Anyone know of any bolt on performance for the Ford 2.8 V6. I am in the US and will shortly switch to a 2" Exhaust with twin Cats to replace the restrictive single cat 1 3/4" stock pipe. Is there an intake kit or is a K & N the way top go?

The real way to go is to fit the US Cologne Engine heads (proper 3 in /3 out ports rather than the siamese ports of the European heads). They were fitted to some Mustangs, but it will mean changing your exhaust manifold as well.

Did the US cars come with the Euro heads?

I believe so since they were assembled in the UK. You can easily tell, if you only have two exhaust outlets per side its a European head.
