350i Tickover??

Hello everyone!

Just back to the TVR world having owned 7 in the past (6 wedges including 2 420 SEACS !!)

Just purchased an '89 350i (today!) which seems to sometimes tick over fine, sometimes at 1500 rpm and at other times die!!

ANY IDEAS OR SUGGESTIONS!!

Check for splits in the plenum hose, then move on to the electrics for the throttle position sensor.
