280i pedal box movement :o

Hi

Well i noticed yesterday that when depressing the clutch the pedal box is moving...as in video..i checked the fixings but they were tight so now a bit concerned, maybe this is one of the reasons why the clutch cable kept snapping?...it now has to be removed (PITA), so now the clutch hydraulic conversion is what seems a million miles away, Delilah has been off the road too long again..this car!

You can also see, just about what seems to be a master cylinder opening and bolt holes where the clutch cable is going through, could it have been at some point fitted with a later pedal box?

Not sure but will know more once i attempt to remove it all...
