Re-trimming the interior of a 350i

Hmmmm, I had my entire interior done too, however I did all the "manual" work myself. I live in the South East too (Ipswich) and theres a local company I use who will make up all of the interior panels for you to fit.
I took all my old panels/trim off the car, carefully stripped the vinyl coverings off them, and took them to this company. They then made me up replacements and sold me loads of foam. I scraped all the old foam from the panels, stuck new bits on, and then stretched the new coverings over them. Added some high temperature adhesive and now have an interior that looks like new.
The seats were taken to the same company, and they fully recovered them in new leather.
Total cost for everything came to around £700. I also bought a roll of carpet and soundproofing from the net too for around £160 (I over ordered just incase) and cut this into panels to fit.
Its a lot of work, but with winter coming could be a good project. I think that if you were going to have someone do all the work for you, I doubt you will get much change out of £2000. The company I used has already told me that they wouldn't ever want to do all the installing/sticking work by the way. If you want contact details, just let me know!

I'm doing the same project over the winter. I have a background dealing with fabrics and can do everything apart from use a sewing machine!
I'm also respraying my car so my interior which has been totaly stripped and will match the bodywork when done.
The cheapest way is to get a trimmer to sew up your panels and recover them yourself - if you can find someone to do that you will save £££s - there are loads about to which shopping around for a quote is the best option.

If you've got a sewing machine and a decent amount of time, then it's not as much of a black art as you might think. I've done most of mine now, just one front seat left to do, all in leather. I've probably used around 4 hides so far, will be 5 by the time I've finished and that's on a +2.
As for the carpets, you can edge them on a normal home sewing machine with not much effort.

I had West Country Trimmers do the job. Full carpets £400, new hood £400. A little more if you wanna start messing about with shortpile Wilton carpets in weird colours etc.
Looking at the piles of mess made by all the rotten bits they took out and all the messing about removing seats, seat belts, centre panels etc I would rather them than me!
Done a fine job. Had the boot carpet looked at as well and a new hood. Fitted me Griff struts at the same time. Did a fine job. Really pleased.
I believe that Dickymint had a quote for the carpets and leather trim as well at the same time. I cannot remember what it was though but I remember thinking that it was really competitive after listening to other people who have had the job done by other companies. Shed any light Dicky on the cost?
