At Long Last a 400

After a nationwide search I have found and purchased my dream car, see my profile. What do you think ? Me, cant get the 400 grin off my face (after I stop laughing that is) Drove her home last night and shes now tucked up in my garage :D

Welcome to the 400 club.I recently got one to compliment my 200. Very different cars, both great for different reasons.
Enjoy the grin factor. Iv'e still got mine from this morning when a pair of Golf GIT drivers tried it on. They wern't grinning!

Bob, dont know the exact colour off hand, got the paint code at home in a massive file I have only half read, but it looks the same as yours Ruby not really red , Nice dog (Oh no !! back on dogs again)

Do all 400's have the hotwire type fuel system ? If so they don't pop and crackle much if any , as they are more sensible with fuel than previous wedges , no dumping of fuel into exhaust, so I was told ! Sorry !

only early 400's had a flapper it was changed for the hot wire system which stops the poping on over run, unless you are giving it some beans

Yep, No Snap or Crackle although I do get a very satisfying POP whan changing up at high revs. Is that normal ??

Interestingly, the Rangey had fuel-shutoff-on-overrun, it could be retro-fitted to a Wedge but why would you?
I suppose with something doing 10 mpg, every bit was worth saving (and, perhaps, the snap-crackle-pop was deemed uncouth for the Rangey market)...

The last owner gave me a small pot of paint it says its TVR 3H4 is that a colour? The vin plate says PL22PA49B What does all that lot mean ??

Mines Ruby Mica Red, and the VIN code is P422 PA41.
