Well, I had a lovely run out on Sunday, topdown,.... heater blasting out ().
I want to keep the old girl exercised whenever possible so things don't get gunged up.

BUT........have you seen the forecast for the coming weekend ?

Bad enough me having to drive across the North York Moors to work every day in the Rover.

Get a V8 Discovery for the winter months, tis great, all the sounds of the V8 etc etc, and because you were clever and bought an LPG one it runs on pocket money!

Nice one Graham. I went topless too on Sunday. Trouble was I kept getting my arse out on virtually every roundabout (the back of the car not my spotty, hairy one).The roads were very greasy in places where the sun had not dried them out and the wheels were spinning in second with the lightest of pressures on the loud pedal.

Great fun at low speeds, but very cautious elsewhere. I read on the Cerbera pages that someone had crashed their P&J at the weekend due to the slippery conditions.

I went topless on Saturday. Great drive until the fuel pump expired. This was about 3.00pm and in the countryside. Started to get very cold as I waited for first the AA man and then the lowloader. I now realise how easy it is to get hypothermia

- yes, I was having to be very careful on the greasy bits too.
Fortunately I'm only about a mile off the A19, so I could take her for a good (safe) blast up the dual carriageway, to satisfy my 'need for speed'.
