power steering problems

Left Surrey meet on Friday. Turn wheel to right power steering seems ok. Turn it to left and its very heavy as though it's not working. Any clues anyone? Fluid is topped up and not leaking. Can't see that a belt has come off.

Could be a blocked or crushed hydraulic line on the rack, or a leaking seal...?
