280 throttle cable?

Since mine decided to go on the way to work and I can't find anything by searching...anyone know what they're from and where I can get one as cheaply and quickly as possible?

Looking at the Transit ones I can find on ebay, some look like they may be ok, others completely wrong. I've rang a load of parts places and none are prepared to help unless I give them exact part numbers/years/models etc.

RT/David Gerald/TVRcarparts etc don't have any either, though they have some coming at some point.

Speedycables can't help unless I can send them the old one, but I don't have the ends for it or the short part that snapped off, so I don't even have the correct length!

Who would have thought a simple throttle cable could cause so much grief...looks like at least another couple of weeks on the bus.

I got a spare from Tower View in london. Why not give them a call? If not, I'll check my 'alternative spares list' for the original sourse.
