What tyres...?

Im searching for a good set of tyres (205-50s). Anyone got any favorites or recommended... might sprint the car next year as well so looking for some grip!

You'd be better off with 205/55/15s.

Put a set of toyos on the 350 b4 I sold it, 225 rear 205 front they cost about 300 quid and had plenty of grip in the dry (never drove it in the wet)

They seem okay to me in the wet, as long as I avoid bends and corners and roundabouts, and drive like a learner.
Gives 'drifting' a whole new meaning.

Thats interesting, the bible say a 50 profile tyre, which would considerably lower the car. I notice that I have 60s at the mo so if I put 55s on they will lower the car by 20mm! I think thats enough for me. Can I fit 225s on the rear with a standard OZ split rim (7J).

Any ideas on make... Avon? Toyo? Bridgestone....

It would actually lower the car by 10mm, the difference in radius only. That being said it will also alter the speedo/milometer readings by 3.3%. I would also consider getting the geometry checked at the same time.
