Does anyone know what has happened to Emerald's website? The url www.emeraldm3d.com/ doesn't seem to work anymore. TIA Leslie

Interesting, the domain wasn't resolving to that site last night. It was coming up with a standard holding page from a webhosting company. I guess someones webserver isn't working very reliably. Or the owner has re-registered the domain with another hosting co and only just got their site back online.

It's a standard 400SE. I've added a 36-1 crank sensor to the crank pulley and an air temperature sensor to the plenum. The main trouble I have is that the mounting for the crank sensor is way beyond the 90 degrees Emerald recommend. I think it is 23 teeth before TDC (aprox. 230 degrees). I have yet to check that the TDC marks on the pulley are correct, but so far it tries to catch when I crank it but I can't get it to actually fire and run. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
The 90 degree thing is easily solved, if you move the plug leads round (assuming mapped ignition) you can move the effective alignment in multiples of 90 degrees so easy to arrange 113 degrees. Is it firing the injectors? I found it is very helpful to put an LED in parallel with each injector so you can see them twinkling away.
You can get emerald to change the software ( or it may be buried in the config menu somehwere) so that it reads the missing tooth anywhere in the cycle its just that 90° before tends to give the best results.
Can you check the sensor output ( preferably on a scope) to verify that its working at the ECU end of the loom? Also check the basics, Is TDC no'1 pointing towards no.1 spark plug?
Have you removed the amplifier from the side of the dizzy and are using the emerald supplied one to run the coil?
Are you getting a spark , is the fuel pump running?

What I mean is that as far as the ECU concerned all the cylinders are the same, so you can put whatever cylinder you like at 90 degrees after the missing tooth even if the ECU doesn't directly support it. But if the ECU does let you define the position of the missing tooth, that would probably be a better approach.

My latest ECU has the ignition amplifiers inside the ECU as well, so that should be fine unless its and old ECU, Have you junked all the old wiring, and started from scratch?
I recently did this on mine and found loads of wire which wasn't been used, was dead-ended but powered (therefore a nice aerial) etc etc
far far easier to start from scratch
