Entered the Christmas season yesterday by being made redundant. B*ll**ks!. But the b*gg*rs will not grind me down. I'm not selling the Wedge !!!!

I've got an idea for a new job though - watch this space. I may be asking you for some advice early next year.

Thanks Steve. The company I worked for are based near you in Kidderminster, and I went there yesterday to hear the news. At least I had the benefit of a great drive across country and back in the sunshine. The drive took my mind of things. Just shows that Wedges are theraputic as well.

Hello Guys. You are fantastic! As anyone who's been through it will know, being made redundant is a gut wrenching time. So it's even more welcoming to know that a few lines on the Wedge PH site can bring out so much good feeling and support. I'll drink to you all on Christmas Day.

Sorry to hear it, join the club. A company I have been freelancing for over the last 4 years (75 - 80% of my time) sent me an email on the 17th saying no more work, and not even a thank you. This was just four days before son number 2 was born! Strangely I was made redundant just after my first son was born 5 years ago. Definitely no more children!!!!
