What ID fuel hoses?

I haven't found a post that indicates the ID of the hoses from (Bible p49):
1) Swirl pot to fuel pump.
2) Fuel pump to fuel accumulator.
3) Fuel accumulator to metal pipe.
BTW & FWIW, RallyNuts list 1300psi burst pressure hoses in 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 8mm with s/s braid overlay, and 12mm and 15mm pump input hose (IIRC, the 12mm is used from tanks to swirl pot).

Just checked mine: Pump to filter (I assume that's what you refer to as accumulator)=8mm. Filter to metal pipe = 8mm. Can't easily check the swirl pot to pump, but it's c. 13mm, although I have modded mine so that may not be standard. BTW, that last item is a braided steel hose on mine, with a flurosilicon(sp?) liner, and was a real b
to fit because it has very little give, unlike non-braided lines. HTH. 7.

My mistake - I assumed you were talking about the V8 system, which doesn't have an accumulator.

FYI use 8mm ID, and do not overtighten the tie wraps holding the hoses to the chassis. Back pressure in pipes goes up with the fourth power of the diameter of the pipe, and 6mm pipes on a 7 bar 2.8i fuel line raises the pressure to over 9 bar, which gives all sorts of running problems on k-CIS-Jetronic. Make sure you do not turn tight corners with the pipes either or you will introduce turbulent flow, which goes for overtightening of the tie wraps too!
