Foam or Felt

Interior is now fully stripped out - when it goes back in got to decide on either replacing the foam or putting in the felt. Just wondered what the difference was between the 2 in terms of sound proofing and carpet adhesion.

Use a closed cell foam so that it's not as susceptable to water.

closed cell polyurethane foam, 5mm thick = sleeping mat, £5 from halfrauds.

How about some heat resistant,sound deadening material around the tunnel and foot wells. And removable or affixed-to-the-carpet foam in the low, water trapping areas?

It was very handy to be able to remove the foot well carpets and foam backing. Wish I could have removed the under/behind-the-seat carpet too.

I'd go for lino and drill some drainage holes
