Hi all. New to the group. Proud owner of a 1986 350i convertible, bought it last year, but not had time to enjoy her yet. Needs some tlc, sorting out the brakes (upgrade), and a retrim, but should be on the road in a month or so (bushes and electrical problems permitting). Live 7 miles from Cardigan West Wales. Anybody local?
Hi Chris welcome. There are quite a few of us wedgers now in South Wales so you won't be short of company. Have you joined the club yet? I know the West wales branch meet at The Cottage Inn near Carmarthen on the last Sunday of the month for lunch.
I'm sure the rest of them will be along shortly to say hello.

Hmm - looks like a Welsh takeover - there seem to be so many of you over there!
Will you be setting up a Welsh army to be headed by Glyndwr - or should I say Owen of Glyndwr?. Not really up on Welsh history.
If all the eastern Wedgers can get together we could set up a new Iceni tribe! Then all we need is a Boudicca to lead us.
Keep the dragon flying boyos!

Hi all,Another new member -not quite Welsh (Hereford,-anyone local?) Just had my very first
wedge experience- bought a 280i cab. on a whim, arrived this afternoon and just spent 3hours fidling with sticky door catches and pondering non-popping lights, -I have a nasty suspicion its the start of a very steep learning curve! Forgive the ignorance but if anyone could point me in the direction of info.(wiring dia.etc).I've already found the excellent headlight article by Ian Sayer which will inform my dabbling for the next few days!

Another New member ( me )
also just bought a 280i tasmin.
My driver side light wasn't popping either ragtime- the motor linkage arm had come undone, just needed re-attaching. tis was a fairly painless fix.
I live in Bristol - not to far away from you all.
I have heard of BBWF - could any of you enlighten me on this event and where it is being held this year and when ???
Cheers.

Rebuild? Oh, that pile of tat masquerading as a sports car engine...
Just about at the stage where I could start to put it back together, if I had all the bits. Like some pistons, and gaskets and that...
What are you after then? Bracket for the twin superchargers? Adapter plate to bolt two V8s together...?
There's a few West Walians on here..
