390SE handbrake cable ... anyone?

Speedy Cables want the original to copy - I thought they'd made one or more up before - but mine is still working so I don't want to take it off and render the car unroadworthy until it's replaced.

Does anyone know of a supplier who has the spec to make one up from or has previously made one up? Or anyone with a spare?

why not try a TVR specialist!!. Surely their knowledge and experience is worth a bit more than a few pence saved by trying to put them out of business. Once the specialists have gone the value of your car is also gone, it is the fact that people have confidence that parts and support and knowledge are available means your car has some value. Would you buy a car where you had no source of spares except from scratching around on the internet

Mmmmm......I think I may have an old handbrake cable from either a 280 or 350 tucked away in my pile of old bits somewhere. If you think this might be of use, let me know and I'll go searching.
