What you doing to the Wedge at the Weekend ?

While i,m still waiting for my front calipers to be rebuilt i'm going to rub down and paint the rusty brakepipe brackets and polish my bells!Already stripped and painted the stub axles and disk guards
The calipers are having a red polymer coating instead of the usual electroplate so I will post pictures and details once they are finished as an alternative to Mikeb's calipers.

I'm looking for a wedged up wedger to share fuel costs if anyone fancies it.

Getting plenty of heat into the rears, whilst keeping all four on the black stuff I hope!
Even though I suppose I ought to fix those brake light thingies Alan ? - nah that can wait I`ll just keep going into the corner faster than the car behind then they wont need to see my brake lights anyway.

Probably nothing much on the TVR: it's hemmed in by bits of Esprit. Me Julie has just bought a Toad alarm/ immobiliser and central locking for the Punto (stable door open, horse gone
) so I guess I'll mostly be hanging upside down in footwells and freezing my parts off. However I can get the Esprit bores honed and maybe scrape some more chassis clean... god what an exciting life I lead

Well, I've literally just run the car up to temp. after having the water pump off yet again to fix a leak, due to the gasket not seating properly. Thought I might as well fit a new pump whilst the inlet manifold was off being machined for the bigger trumpets. Pleased to say that no sign of any leaks so far. So tomorrow, I shall actually take it for a spin - not driven it since about a week before Christmas.

Probably going to attack the front end cracks with belt sander to get of the paint / filler from last year
Then go to VW in the new Mundeo ( 6 speed TDCi - oe er) with doggie in the back and look at the nicely polished cars thinking, why did I not start the above earlier and have it done by now

Be good to see you there though.. planned arrival is about 11:30 - as we are having a bit of a countryside blat first.
See you all there - hope to arrive a bit earlier. I think I can give a countryside blat a miss ...... in an Isuzu trooper.
Unless it's directly across the fields
