Started it up for a run out at the weekend... it fired ok, filled it up with fuel (petrol Dicky Got about 2 miles down the road, and it started coughing & spluttering and died..
It won't even fire now.. doesn't appear to be sparking..
The HT leads are all attached, and the alternator was dry, and that's about the limit of my knowledge
I had a problem before where the immobiliser was cutting the engine out after a short time, but it was at least allowing me to start the car.
Any ideas gratefully received as I had to leave it in a less than desirable location

I'll be getting the AA out tonight, but if there's any known issues I can suggest to the AA chap...

Thanks for the offer Ian,

I've been down that road a couple of times...
If the right person came along, then maybe -- but I know I'd miss it as soon as I'd done the deal.

Can't blame a man for trying

Hope you get it fixed... it's bound to be something stupid.

Maybe see you at BBWF?

According to the AA man - it's the fuel pump that's given up the ghost
