My 90 450SE heater matrix and radiator are leaking (slowly). I was wondering if anyone knew the easy way (oxymoron) to get them out for repair. Please respond to my email address (aghbop@aol.com). I am in the US. Thanks Tony Hess

Tony, YHM.

7.

Edited to add: Given Tony my suggestions for the rad removal, but I've never done a heater matrix. Anyone?

Hang on - a 450 in the US? Sounds a bit naughty.

Pensalvania!!
Well I'm in New Jersey, a neighbouring state and I've never used my heater. I get enough heat coming from around the stick!

These do tend to be summer cars here, they emerge around April and are safely tucked away before the snow (and salt)

If it were mine I would by-pass the heater matrix (or core as it is known here) and get the rad fixed, plenty of good rad shops around.
Many places will make custom rads too.

I'm suprised by the year of this car not the engine size! plenty of engine swaps been done. Is Marshall about?
