All,

A few of us got together to drink beer and talk wedges - as you do and decided it's time for a Southern wedge get together.

Let's make it Sunday 7th May - meet at J23 M25 services from 10:15 leave at 10:45..

For those coming from the other direction - M25 J25 - A10 North first layby you see - join on as we pass by..

it's only 20 mins to Hertford heath..

Venue - the Goat Pub : there is also a classic car meet on - so there should be some other interesting cars there too.

They do a mean steak Sandwich at the Goat.

Should give you all the chance to get the wedge finished and come and show it off.

Count me in. The weather should be better by then. Been too cold to have the roof down (wimp), getting withdrawal symptoms from not driving it enough lately. Had the headlamps off yesterday, cleaned up the metalwork on the pod to stop the tin worm and applied some paint

That's excellent ..

Steve R and DP 400SE are both coming along too - Seamus will be there but whether it's in a TVR who knows..

Perhaps Gavin will take pity on him and let him polish his old Cerbera

Sounds good to me - barely enough to get the SX warmed up before I get there...

How about a mass Hatfield Tunnel run just before lunch?

I went to this meet a few times last summer. There is a good variety of cars there. Everything from Lambo Muiras to Morgan three wheelers, via all manor of Porkers, Lotus Tivs, Rarris, Cobras etc. In fact something for everyone really, no matter what your taste. At the last one I went to a group of 6-10 atoms all arrived at once and stole the show. Lets see if we can better that with 20 roaring wedges all arriving at once!

Presumably we should meet up somewhere nearby prior to descending on the Goat; just so we can arrive all at once and drown out everything else?!

I already suggested the M25 services at J23 then continue to J25, A10 North bound and meet others in the first lay-by.

It's just a short trip up the A10 - dual carriage way all the way .. easy enought to stay together.

Really looking forward to seeing a few new faces and saying Hi to old friends again.

I called Nick & Sarah Foster tonight - he is still suffering with a bad back - he has not been in is wedge since the BBWF last year but in on the road to recovery. He is hoping to come along to the Goat as it's pretty local to him and a favourite of his..

Blimey - the pub won't even be open at that time and there will be no-one to see and hear us arrive!
