Check it out, sounds very interesting. Think my son is going to order one for his civic so I might have more details of if it is any good. But for £200ish he is still thinking

Not sure I'd agree that the engine managment system would 'automatically' increase the richness of the mixture to take advantage of the 1-2 psi of 'boost'
If it's usually turned off and not causing and obstruction in the intake, how do they propose to create an overpressure when it is turned on? Surely any pressure above atmospheric would just vent back outside?!

The effect on the engine's tuning is more or less irrelevent. Those cute little electric fans don't produce enough power to generate any significant increase in engine power. In fact they will add a significant restriction to the air intake and will probably reduce the peak power rather than increase it. That's assuming that they don't physically fall apart and fod your engine. They are toys. They are a rip off, a con, a waste of time, a way to part the naive from their hard-earned money. Don't do it.

Fully agree with V8S - look at the physical size of a supercharger and the rpm required to give even small amounts of boost and then compare with these things.
May be useful as a travel hairdryer but otherwise if you want cheap gains from the intake reposition and insulate to cool it down.
