i now you can get rose joint lower wish bones is there any reason why you cant fit rose joint top wish bones as in the 80,s a lot of the hot rods were using ford cortina suspention with ajustable top wish bones?

I dont see why not we use fabricated top ( and bottom) wishbones on the taz racer. just a tubular copy of the ford item with rose joints in the end...


they give you the advantage of being able to adjust castor as well as camber too

One hidden advantage in using rose joints is when the taz was crashed th wishbones bent and the rose joints swiveled. and the chassis was undamaged. with a standard wishbone it would have bent the turret...


I believe that is the excuse for chim wishbones being made out of paper, so that they are damaged in a crash rather than the chassis...
