Ive mentioned this before but the first sunday of the month is going to be goodwood breakfast club for people to turn up and chat cars! Look in the meetings section and also the general gassing section and you will see loads of threads! i think its going to be huge!

Every one has a theme, this time classis sports cars-so come on gentlemen-what are you waiting for???!!!

Im going in the 400 with my dad in his ultima for its first run of the year! WOOHOO!

Whos in for a play then? It starts at 10:30 so if anyone wants to convoy down with me then we will organise something!

PLAN: Petersfield TESCOS carpark for 9:30 on dunday morning ready for the blast to goodwood!

Hi Matt, I was going to post about Sunday and have just seen your thread.

I have checked the weather on both the Met Office and BBC websites and Sunday seems to be fine. I think I will deffo be going and I'm going to email the other wedgers in the area to see what they are doing.

Don't know the Petersfield Tesco car park - is it near the A272? - the drive from the A272 to Goodwood is a good one but as you know from previous posts I normally meet others in the lay by just off the A259 at Emsworth.

I'll see what everyone is doing on Sunday and then we can sort out a meeting point.

Sounds good to me! If the 272 is easier, it would probably be better to meet at the Mcdonalds on the round about, thats on the A272/A3 roundabout so easy for all! We could all just meet there but if theres an opertunity to cause some more noise.....im in!!!!

Hi Matt

Paul on Hayling has his wedge in bits so he is a no. Martin on Hayling (the extra LOUD one) has flu so he is a probably not. Me mate Mike who has a Chim is in Africa! Haven't heard back from Clive (the other wedge newbie in Petersfield) or any other local wedgers (The Colonel is it?) so at the mo' it is just you and me matey!

Don't mind which way - A272 or A259 - both are good posing roads - only good thing about A259 is that we could drive very slowly and NOISILY through the centre of Chichester

Ill give clive a call later, i saw him last weekend to help him with some bits on his car as he's only about 5 miles from me...

sounds like everyones too busy then!

Lets just hope that the weather is good!

we will certainly make some noise...your 350...my 400...my dads ultima with straight through boxes on....WAKE UP WORLD!

Id love to be woken up with that noise every morning! But its a shame some people dont share the same enthusiasm as the rest of us!!!

Well we have to hope that the weather is going to be nice! If it is, its going to be such a good day!

Looking on the meeting section on this site, there looks like there is going to be quite a selection of cars going!

Right, flu appears to be on the mend, weather looks good, charger is connected, all I need now is a plan!

Let me know what the score is, but will probably try and meet there if we can sort out a time.

Martin,
Not heard from Matt yet, one plan as you can see was to meet at the A3 junction. If I don't hear from Matt between now and then I will go straight there. ( Matt if you are reading this let us know otherwise would prefer a convoy). Glad your Flus gettin better!!

I just caught sight of your wedge with the bonnet up on the way back , bottom of racecourse hill, what was up - I was going to turn around but I think you had a good mechanic with you!
Nothing serious I hope.

Good that 5 wedges showed up
Definately go to another breakfast meet, and who cares - just park in the main arena no matter what the theme, what do you reckon?

I am off for another drive now that I have thawed out
