Thanks fellas You will be pleased to know I bombed back to Bristol with the roof off in the snow. The funniest look I had was from a goggle eyed chap in an MGF as I hoofed past him.

Of course She got you home Mike, never doubted it for a second.........PHEW! The orange switch used to be an override for the original cooling fan, not needed now as the twin Kenlowes are on an adjustable thermostat. By the way when they cut in they draw a lot of current and the revs drop off a lot (hence the high revs at idle so it doesnt stall). When you get used to it you can drop the idle.

Not really sure. Probably whatever the customer specified at the factory. I swapped them over for the winter as the wood was too cold :wimp:

The switch does nothing - leave it the the same position it's in now

You mean Dicky didn't give you the Bible ?

They come up when you turn the headlights on

Or manual from a hole underneath. But don't be surprised that they will rise and lower immediately...... Have a look at the wedgepages (mikeb) if no bible at hand at the moment.
Oh, could be the connectors. Had just one popping up. Cleaned connectors and now the non-working side beats the other one.
And yes, the switch on the steering column can be tricky. And once starting on understanding the whole front lighting system, it is probably the most complex thing on the wedge, except for ECU.....

Black Renevo for the hood material, Renevo plastic wndow polish for the rear window - comes up a treat. CIF/JIF cream for the leather, gently rubbing it in, wipe it off and then give it a good hide feed with Gliptone hide feed stuff.

Ebay for the rear cracked light clusters, www.racegraphics.net for the badge vinyls, Dulford autos for the service, oily bits and polybushes etc, Hammerite for the chassis along with waxoyl and Valvoline VR1 racing oil for the engine. Leven for the shiney metal bits.

Ebay for the veneer panels for the dash, centre panels and glove box or London Carriage Craft if you want a proper job done and got some loot to blow, this forum, Wedg1e and the TVRWedgepages for everything else!

The lights work...the lights work I tell you...tried them earlier. Just flick the switch fully forward and wait......then wait a bit longer, then try it again!

the left one popped up lovely, the right one needed a bit of help....mind you It won't start I love it already.
