Looks like a very well sorted car Matt, especially on the engine front, although I have to say the 350SE wheels never looked right to me. Is that a CF dash? It looks like you've dispensed with the panels that the original "veneer" was applied to, as the dials seem to be on top, rather than recessed?

It is a carbon dash as the original veneer was completly trashed so I threw it away and started again, as to better pictures, you're probably right however my girlfriend has inconviently taken her camera back to london with her so some pictures are better than none

The interior is a bit poor and the bonnet vents too high up...

Having seen Matt's car many times and knowing his engineering skills - Cosworth engineer - this car is a definite wolf in sheeps clothing , would make mincemeat out of most wedges on here along with many other cars of sporting appeal. The mods may scare some ins. people but if you want a seriously fast wedge this is it !

Matt,
Your wedge looks really nice from the outside BUT the interior photos do not do the car any justice (Seats do not match, looks badly retrimmed in suede, door trim strips missing).

Personally, I would remove the pic of the interior and let viewers come and have a look at the car. I have never seen the car but a few people have and their comments are very promising. If a perspective buyer came to look at the car, then the interior is probably much better in the flesh than on the pics and if she drives well then who could refuse?

Trying to be helpful,
L33

Hi Matt,
Constructive criticism here.

As previously noted the pictures don't do the car justice at all. I think the pictures that are representing the car are not the most flattering angles to photograph a wedge.
Front three quarters and directly from the rear, and front. are the best due to the angular nature of the beaties. Also, I would agree, the 350 wheels (like mine) don't suit the car at all.

Any yes, the interior does look probably very much worse than it is. The ?suede I have no doubt looks marvellous in the flesh but somehow looks slightly tatty in the pics.

I haven't checked your profile but if you are anywhere near me, I have a good digital camera and would be most happy to take some good photo's for you. You can upload them onto ebay at any time. It seems such a shame as I have no doubt the car is an absolute stonker. (I'm a great fan of modified cars that don't really look modified)

Please don't take this as criticism per se, just pointing out from a laymans view what I would think....I have recently bought a wedge myself, so was looking around for a while. It seems a shame to undersell such a good motor.

Cheers matt
Mike.

Would add a bit more information regarding your background, and that you can point a future owner to knowledgeable people like yourself, pistonheads, specialists,etc....
For an automotive engineer it would be a great car, but know that it can put you off. Myself being an automotive engineer went for an absolute standard 350i as it is already difficult enough to keep that on the road once it goes horribly wrong. Good luck with the sale, but the price now is ridiculously low. Can't you sell it at a meet, or wait for BBWF? Must be easy to make more.
