Shocks, part #s for US cross ref
Discussion
This is for a US 280, but I believe 280 and 350 shocks are the same.
I managed to find some Spax #s G2011 AS and G241-33 front and back resp., but these do not cross ref here. I'm just looking for a regular set of shocks nothing fancy.
I found a company that did acknowlege the existance of TVR and gave a price of 560 (Koni) which is twice the cost of a set for my 911.
The spares market in the US operates on "Make, model, year" when you say TVR, they say who makes it!
Thanks
Jeff

Jeff,
Have you contacted Gene Bird at Classic Motor Works in Pennsylvania?
He stocks Spax shocks for TVRs. Don't know whether he has 280i fitment in stock, but he should be able to get them if he doesn't.

I dont think you can get Spax in the UK, if you look at motorsportworld web site I think they have part numbers for Avo- www.motorsportworld.co.uk/framefix.asp?ProductCode=AV-PH749&PID=166588. Iam sure they used to do Koni's aswell but cant find them now. They may ship to the US for you.
