One of my previous threads was asking about which starter motors were available for wedges, and how much...

Well....this is a major thumbs up to numbnuts who somehow has managed to source one of the smaller starter motors, correct fitting, it's a brand new quinton hazell unit for...


£65

That's non exchange as well (not 100% about that bit) but I must say that's one heck of a lot cheaper than anything else.

Nice one Mike. Post up a photo and part number etc. for the archive.

Now whats all this about fireing on 4? Only thing I can think of is wireing from the dizzy to resistor pack or half the resistor pack gone down

Wow! Yes - great deal. Makes me feel a bit mewlish after having my starter motor rebuilt.

I can't find it in the QH catalogue - please post up the part number and description for future reference.

I'll take a pic of it tomorrow complete with box so we can hopefully find some more...
