My 390 was featured in 'Sprint' twice, both times as centrefolds

One of the previous owners, John Beveridge, took some pics and submitted them for the 'Back Home' photo competition in IIRC '97... one got third place. Another pic was featured later.
I met John years later by the simple expedient of turning up at his office and demanding a meeting
When his secretary asked what it was about I said I had one of John's old cars. John came out of his office and said "Do you own my old Celica then?"
I said "No, the TVR".
John turned to his secretary and said "Hold all calls. Two coffees and plenty of biscuits!"

He went on to dig out photos and the company invoices for all the servicing/repair/blinging work that had been done (it had been his company car)... all £21,000 of it

Last I heard he had a gold 400SE that he bought from HHC... 2001 or 2002, I forget when.

Anyway, back to the topic: I'll see if I can scan the photos from Sprint... with their permission, of course :ahem: if I can't find the originals...
