Falken FK541 tyres - great result
Discussion
At last got round to getting a full set of 245/45 x16 Falken FK451 tyres fitted on 9x16 wheels. Marked improvement over Bridgestone SO3s. I've read lots of negative comments about the SO3s and I can see why. Despite the lower profile of the Falkens the ride is much less twitchy and tramlining has definitely reduced. Dry roads this morning so will reserve judgement in the wet. Bigger wheels have also increased ride height so hopefully not so many dents in the exhaust now. Time for another blast...
My mate used to rave about the Falkens on his Porsche 928 (S4) manual but it was a much heavier car than the TVR ..
I've never been overly impressed with the Bridgestone S03's either..
after the excellent S02 - the S03 is only an 'average' tyre.
In my humble opinion the Toyo is far better..
Glad you like the Falken - you will have to let us know you thoughts on them when you have run them in a bit..

Falken also do the ZE512 in a 205/60VR15 for about £45. Has anyone tried these?
I've got these on my 14" rims and they seem very good, I've also just put a set of Falkens on my Disco, and really like the results, going to be putting them on my e30 too when i get round to needing new tyres. Especially for the price I can't find anything to beat them
