Rear lights......
Discussion
Been thinking about the rear lights on the wedge, and it would be nice to think about doing somethink to 'tart it up' a bit (PLEASE no 'Max power' comments!)
Im NOT about to perform a beatable offence and suggest 'Lexus lights'
but maybe something like a half smoked lens...
I used to have the '16v' lenses on my MK2 golf which really did take years off the car...
Anyone tried this?? Any results??

When I was repairing my car after its accident, I could only find a couple of smoked lights. I didn't like them at all so rubbed them down with wet and dry, then polished them using an electric paint buffer. Heres a picture anyway. Probably looks worse since the car is all different colours, but perhaps you could cut and paste them onto a photo of your car.

Nice job. NCT2 must be getting a bit hard by now though. Be sure to check that the boot release cable isn't frayed whislt the car is in bits.
Ha ha, those tyres were on a scrap set of wheels whilst the rebuild was going on. Just saved messing my good rims up with filler and paint! Got a nice set of TR-1's now which I'm finding really good. If you look at my profile you can see the finished results.
Eeeek, seemed to have hi-jacked this post. To go back the the original topic, having seen a wedge or 2 with tinted rear lights I really wouldn't recommend it. It really did look like a "Max Power" effort and to me, personally, thats not what TVR's are about. I don't think they need modernising with such things. I removed all the tinting from my lights and think they look so much better. So did everyone else in fact.
However, everyone's car is their own and they are free to customise them how they wish. I think the only advice I would really give is to not do anything that cannot be easily undone again. Chances are that come selling time, the buyers will want original, non messed with examples.

Yeah, i agree with the standard thing, just keep thinking subtle changes would do the old girl a bit of good!
I guess there isnt such thing as a 'fueago' (if thats how its spelt) moding club who may know of someone who used to make different lensed light clusters??
I dont want to spray them myself as the tint stuff looks so home made!

What a web-site that would be - "Pimp-my-Fuego.com"
Joking aside, I found these links:
www.auto-tuning.cz/cg_car_digital.php?page=0&sel=1&crd=59
http://orbita.starmedia.com/~danyolaf
http://renaultfuego.free.fr/
And if you thought the fuego was a little outdated, this (I believe) is the new Fuego
