piccies of 1983 - 350i exhaust routes - wanted!

Hi Guys. Sorry to be a pain the buTToCKs, but would you please take some piccies of the the exhaust routes of your cars for me. As I am having BIG BIG trouble fitting the new manifolds - MEGA! tight in the starter motor area. I am not certain which route the left hand tube goes. Under or over or thru to meet the "Y" section, which I will have to fabricate soon. Plenty of space on the other side tho! Do they make a smaller starter motor as mine is the std Lucas motor?

p.s 1. Will leaking core plugs go away after running in ?
2. How long does it take to get oil pressure while priming the oil pump by using a drill and tool?
3. As I have got the early type that uses a pipe and guage rather than an electric take off, do I have to have the ignition on to see if system is pressurising. I would connect everything up but I am having trouble with the starter motor/manifold.

1. I thought they either sealed or they didn't?
2. No more than about 10 seconds: you could try back-filling the pipework from the oil filter end to speed things up... you can normally feel the drill slow down as the drag of the oil through the pump loads it up.
3. If it's a capillary gauge then no, you shouldn't need the ignition on.

RPI sell these that look small enough - check out the photo's lower down as there are dimensions on them that could help.

Thanks Dicky, looks like they won't fit as the solenoid is on the side rather than underneath.
Any way guys. Got the old girl running. Primed the pump sucessfully. Done all the biz and after two turns of the key it started right up. Kept it at 2500rpm for a good 10mins but had to stop as it turned into the Mallard. Chuffing steam everywhere. Bucketing leak from the middle core plugs of each bank. Spoke to Dave at DJE and said that that was the first case he had ever had. Typically my luck!
Let it cool down, then tryed again. Only this time it stalled on its own. It does this after a couple of minutes now. Have checked everything- seems fine.
It is a bit of a howler tho, with no exhaust on yet. The old bat next door gave me a very stern look as she went out.
Could it be a relay sticking?
