Over fueling Please help.

Have fitted new engine to my Wedge 350i "Replacement 3.5" and am having problems getting it to run sweet.
It starts well from cold but has trouble once warm.
The car is Over fueling and wont idle. Yet when you pull an Air house off so it gets more air it ticks over nice apart from idleing a bit fast.Also this helps it start.
Any ideas?

Coolant temp sender?

Do you have a cold start injector? If so disconnect it and see if that makes any difference.

If it is like the old SD1 vitesse system, which i'm sure it is.. There is a sensor on the plenum base, cos i had this with one of those, once it cuts out, take the spade connectors off and bridge with some wire, so by passing the sender and see what happens.
