my wedge seems to have a lot of travel on the brake pedal before they start to work. i have blead the brakes, it has new disks and pads on the front and new disks on the back, although the rear pads where uneavenly worn, so i have got some more on order, the pistons are moving freely. any ideas on how to reduce the travel as i think it will fail the mot if i can't improve things
Have you adjusted the servo to master cylinder plunger ??
Remove master cylinder , you should be able to leave pipework on, and expose plunger with lock nut, adjust this plunger to reduce pedal travel. needs abit of trial and error but worth it when you get it right. I think this is in the bible.
Also new pads and stuff need to bed in and this will cause extra pedal travel
I hope I am not trying to teach me gran anything to do with eggs
