Malpassi Fuel Regulator

Yo Guys - Have managed to get hold of a Malpassi Fuel Regulator. No paperwork so can someone tell me what is what.
There is a small fitting at the bottom, which I take is the vacuum pipe, and there a two other barbed fittings. One at the top and one on the side. Which is in and which is out?...ta like!

Hi Mark: if it's like the adjustable one on the 390SE, the side fitting comes from the end of the fuel rail and the end (or top) fitting is the return to the tank.

Are there no arrows to mark the direction of flow? Perhaps you could use an airline to check. Shouldn't be able to flow in both directions.
