Just took in the 400SX for its MOT. First time on the computerised system (my local garage being rather quaint....)

Anyhow I got a call from the garage saying the 'pooter wouldn't recognise the chassis number or even the reg number! So I had to get the missus to dig out the reg document and take it up there. Hopefully that'll be enough for them.

So - take your reg document along when you go for the MOT, just in case, it'll save faffing around later.

Following the 280i's MOT just before BBWF last year I had loads of letteres from DVLA asking for details of the car. By the sound's of things they had no idea that the registration still existed...not my problem hopefully
