Talk to Mike Johnson - BoostedLS1 on this site. He's the guru for this kind of thing. We looked at putting an LS1
into my wedge a couple of years ago, but we just didn't think it would fit. ( headers would hit side rails )
You can put it in a chim or a griff though, Not sure about a T car.

Would love a later TVR with a blown 6 in it. If anyone hears of anything let me know.

Cheers.

www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=254234&r=3204359&hm=42637#3204359 approx £17K. Doubt that they'll come up for sale very often.

Could the manifolds be routed like a Griff? Out the front and then down. Custom built manifolds? Must be possible.

The problem is right next to the heads on cylinders 7 and 8 not two feet away.

Interesting, a chap in the local TVR club has a 7 litre small block chevy (iron block) in his Wedge . Found out in casual conversation one Sunday "and then I replaced the RV8 5.2 with this... !
From reading the SBC thread in major mods for the Speed 6 Tuscan it would seem the Aluminium engines are a bit wider and this just tips the balance. Understandable in car designed for straight six, but shame for something that takes a RV8.....

It will easily fit into a TR7(as the engine bay is cavernous) with loads of space around the engine. The 6 speed will also clear the tunnel I know this because I've already done a test installation for a customer and I had 2 turbo's to squeeze in. It still fits. Plus, decent TR7's can be had for peanuts.

Boosted.
