I'm aiming for that from my 4.5 contraption, allbeit with modded head, larger plenum, afm, injectors etc

Your 300 horses (give or take the odd one)would look very good in that company

Froidein slip, or typing error, I meant mine to make 300 not 400, But would still expect a Griff 500 to make over 300

Sorry Rev no spare dissy, well not complete, have the body and some bits and pieces that may make another one if I could find them all Go mega squirt / jolt , and then bin the dissy ( Well the top bit anyway (as you need the bottom to power the oil pump)

You can do it.... just costs lots and lots of money... The 520 certainly is in that category. It will be way above that when blown. John has the engine in bits doing the customary/precautionary rebuild. Nothing major just new guides/shells and check everything out. The new design pistons should be here next week so it shouldn't be too long now.


or alternatively you inflate the tyres to around 40 psi, play games with solid CO2 to cool the air and choose a rolling road that is a little bit over optimistic... 400 bhp is then quite easy. Really bhp figures in absolute terms are pretty meaningless. Tis the before and after ones that really matter.
