How do I.......

My heater blower is only blowing on low speed, high speed is not available. I have removed the veneer dash panel for access but cannot see how to push the switch out of the dash to remove the wires and clean up contacts etc. I don't want to use brute force just yet. Any advice from the wise ones would be appreciated.

Car is a 450SE.

The switches do tend to get gummed up. You need to remove the multi plug from the rear of the switch, then slide off the fibre obtic surround from the back of the switch. The switch itself then comes out from the front of the panel. Its located with a couple of fairly small plastic tags on the top and bottom edges. Sometimes a bit of lubricant can help ping it out.
