First Drive of the year
Discussion
Well i finally got it out of the garage and drove to the MOT station
Lovely feeling with my quiet car roof down and dog hanging out the rear
Found the go pedal a bit tough, may have to remove one of the springs, but once I got used to the feeling again and all warmed and gauges going well (as normal as ever anyway
) Gave it some loudness and frigtened a few M3's in my way. 20 min drive there and a 2 hour drive back
Oh well back in my garage for another couple of weeks till the southern run, mind you if it stays nice may have to get her taxed earlier

So how soon can you tax it to start from 1st May
Pretty busy this weekend anyway, as dog needs haircut on Friday and family over Sunday . Ummmmm still leaves Sat & Monday - No I must fix WSV, now got the tool to hopefully undo the wheel nuts to get to the brakes and bleed them properly, plus still got to weld the Fiesta up, how nice is the weather supposed to be ?

Enough of your personal goings on Alan.
All my problems are Esprit-shaped.
Well they were: then I bought another lathe
and now the workshop needs a cabinet reshuffle
so the TVR takes a seat even further back...
Ironically, the new lathe, while being a good bit shallower than the old one, is larger in every other dimension. So the bloody thing won't just slot straight in and now I have to find space for things I didn't think about.
Which means moving the TVR.
Which means moving all the Lotus' bits, and the Lotus itself.
Which has no engine...

What's more, she doesn't even want to start for some reason at the moment
