Tasmin 280i parts

Hi Gents,

I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction.

I have met an elderly Tasmin Owner who lives near me in the West of Scotland, who has asked me to assist him with some repairs to his car.

He has an "A" reg 280i FHC which he has had from new.

Following parts are required

Bonnet release cable
Speedometer cable drive gear (in the gearbox) - gearbox is 4 speed

I know my sources for 400 SE parts but any ideas of possible source for above items would be appreciated.

If anyone has stripped the (Ford?)gearbox of a 280i please advise if the speedo drive gear just pulls out, or is some dismantling of the box required.

speedo drive gear is removable from outside the box. I think they are available on tvrcarparts.co.uk.
