Clunk instead of woosh

Yes the blue 390 has finally had a ' breakdown' but she did it in the best place , just out of the shed/garage, the original fuel pump 1987 vintage clunked instead of wooshed when starting , plenty of live feed so new one ordered , will get it tomorrow , Lucas 4fp , readily obtainable from AVP parts Harbro'. No fun until she's going again !

Make sure you have a pre-filter for that combine! Especially if your taking the ful pump off, the nasty part of the job is done!

Also combine, did you see my thread as to what colour my car is?? Any idea what yours is???

Its ocean blue , have a can of touch up paint that came with her. She has a pre filter but it says in the instructions to renew the filter when fitting new pump.Also says in bible some folks fit two filters before pump !
