Well, after 2 months of referbing them, they are finally on. What do you think?
Although not as nice as the OZs I love 'em

I referbed them myself with the exception of having the 30 bolts around each wheel plated.

How did you refurb them and what stuff did you use as mine need sorting and the refurb guy's can't get them back to original because the 5 spoke bit is a different silver colour to the rims !

On the centres, I used Halfrauds alloy wheel paint and several costs of lacquer.
The proper OZ wheels have a lighter coloured silver centre.
I guess any paint, as long as its primed properly and given a good dose of lacquer would work.

Pisser. Looks like another one I won't be able to go to.
I'm having an operation on my knee on the 10th. I am guessing me knee won't be healed well enough to drive by then.

I could always let wifey drive as now I have fitted the Chimp seats, she can reach the pedals! I even got her insured on it. Am I mad???

Either that or your wife is brave , unusual to see wive's driving big wedges , what with that 'horrible' noise.
