Pinky's gone red.........some photo's

Well chaps, today was the day pinky went red.
Dave and I have sprayed the bugger red, I reckon it looks pretty good what do you think.
Tomorrow, it flatting time, wheel lacquering and stickers on.
If any of you would like an honest Mike and Daves quality spray job.
ok, well, a very decent blow over get in touch, we're getting into this lark.

Looks good, nearly finished then 
I'm approaching mine in slightly different way, taking boot, spoiler, bonnet, mirrors, rear lights, fronts indicators & spots out, hood off / released from body, rubber seals off then painting tub then bits removed, putting bonnet, boot, pods on then clear coat the lot. That way I get hopefully get a good coat of paint in the bits you can see when doors, boot & bonnet open, but mainly as the colour will be a bit different from the original.
It's painstacking work sanding / filling / sanding each panel but the more effort you put into itthe better it will be. Still trying to get rid of where some guy had done a spray up to the pin stripe, so on removing the pin stripe a nasty ridge is seen below line.
Next question for me is do I put pinstrips back on or not, seen quite a few without and I think it makes the side look a lot less clutteres. You putting them on old pinky
Interesting enough having looked at some Wedge nose cones recently on Sunday there don't seem to be that many without ripples or some strange lines going through them

Just one question though, the black rubber strip that hides the front bumper join at the top, why didn't you remove it before painting it? Did Dicky superglue it on or something?
Somplace like Woolies do the same profile stuff and it's quite cheap to replace?

..so i improvised
by cutting off the same amount from the other side. You are right that will have to be one of the finishing touches.
