If only they didn't have that orrible sewage line (sp?
), oh, and the rust, and just about everything else that was naff about them even when new. Wheels aren't bad though.
Apologies to anyone I've upset JMHO !
Mad though isn't it, when you can get a proper classic V8 sports car that cost at least double when new, for less money.

Naah - I'd get really brassed off being overtaken by diesel repmobiles, greasing a hundred nipples and hunting for rust every couple of days.

The only older car I would have is a TR6. I've owned a fully restored MGB GT in the past. Granted it was a rubber bumper model but it was the most woeful hideous car I have ever owned. It was thirsty, cramped, damp, slow, didn't handle, just awful. (imo
) I sold it for a vw passat, yes it was that bad.

Well being one of those old enogh to have owned a TR6, (still got it in back of garage but original resto project no wings, engine out, interior in roof etc) these car do compare to the wedge for fun if not speed. The prices do appear high though compared to the cost of Wedges. I was offered £3000 for a car that is basically a pile of pieces, all there mind you and a few new bits but you can by a going wedge for this.
