Mmmm. May have made a mistake here. I 've been away for a couple of days. Car was at about £3300 when I went away. Before I went I added to the listing that the reserve was £6000. Should have predicted that I'd get people still bidding for the hell of it. Currently at £5200. I mean !! WTF is the point of bidding when you know what the #ucking reserve is !! ?? T@ssers.

If they bid any more i've a good mind to lower the reserve. May catch 'em out. My own fault I suppose.

Yes alot of them are complete tts,i think it make's them feel important to bid with money they havent got,it's just realy anoying for the seller has happend to me more than once.

Hi Gary ! Fraid not. I was at a local car show that raises money for Cancer reasearch. That Mexico was mint and looked origional.

I don't understand Nick. If they bid MORE you might LOWER the reserve. I just don't understand that. £6k is very low for your really lovely car. I didn't think you really had to sell it and were going to keep it if you didn't get your price for it.

Anyway, good luck with the sale if it gets to a price you are now happy with. Don't forget, and I haven't looked at the ad yet, if you have it on a 5 or 7 day sale you can extend it to 7 days or 10 days if you catch it prior to 12 hours before the end of the auction - unless ebay have changed that.

Thanks FF. I'll look into extending it. I was just been a little pedantic about lowering the price. I meant that if they continued to bid a little more ( thinking the reserve was still 6k ) it may catch them out. I would just love to think they were their been all cocky bidding upto my reserve and suddenly finding out they had purchased the car. This would probably have been worth a few hundred quid ..... Perhaps not ....
