BBWF to Backhome

In all seriousness, from my experience of BH, BBWF is a MUCH nicer affair (though with a wedge bias of course).
If you go anywhere near the DeVere hotel, expect mediocre food and high prices. Unless it's improved since I was last there...

Hell yeah!

My recommendation to those folk would be: get up early, nip up to Blackpool, cruise about aimlessly while trying to find Bristol Avenue (lots do), chat to a few people, admire lots of cars more expensive than yours.

Then thrash like hell down to Ettington in time for a few jars with the boys

Yes, I'm leaving BBWF on Saturday afternoon to head to Blackpool because I have tickets for Back Home on Sunday.

I am disappointed that you think this and I would hope that that no one going to Back Home would rubbish BBWF in such a way. There are a lot of people putting in a huge amount of effort to make BH run smoothly and I am sure that both events will be successful.

Can't say I'm interested in anything else put on - will be departing Blackpool ASAP and heading for North Wales for some serious driving on Sunday evening and Monday
