Well the day I didn't want to happen had arrived this morning. Was up early this morning as I had a doctors appointment at 9:30 and I wanted to get the Tasmin round my house before then. Picked up the keys to her and the garage and also the battery for her, as I had to put the battery on charge over night. Left at around 8:15am with dad for the short trip to the garage. Reconnected battery and tried to start her. Gave up after 3 goes, as all she kept doing was turning over but not starting and time was going against me because of my doctors appointment. So go back home with dad so that I can get the normal car and drive to doctors.
I arrive at the doctors on time. However have to wait ages to see him and don't get out of there until nearly 10:30am. Decide to go back home and wait for company to come and collect the Tasmin. Company arrives and head to garage with them in their pick up and dad following behind in his car. Get to garage and try to start her again, but this time with a booster attached to the battery. She still does not want to start and after about 4 or 5 goes, she decides that she has had enough and proceeds with a rather large and loud back fire! End up pushing her about until we get her in line with the trailer and then winch her on.
Even though I had prepared for the moment, it was still sad to see her go
Still at least I know she will be in good hands with Perry and Sean. Thanks guys.
Sorry for the rambling post, but I had to get it off my chest and I wanted to let you all know how the pick up went. I would like to thank you all once again for your support and especially those who offered to help me out financially with her. It is all much appreciated. See you all at the BBWF very soon.
