16" Splitrims at BBWF,who's????

I saw some stunning 16 " splitrims on a RED 400se ,Seamus did say who's car it was and where they were done ,but plenty of fallin down water since ,please let me know as I am the proud owner of 2 tatty 16" rims for the rear of my baby and want to get them looking spic and span before putting them on.
Also any1 suggest rubber ,i know ,always a debate and rubber supply is getting thin for choice.I have a mate who is getting what he wants through an American Importer,might look at that route aswell.

Rubber. Just had some Falkens fitted. Preferred weapon being Toyo proxies but the new ones were a few weeks away when I wanted mine to avoid the long arm of the law.

Jeff I`ve run Falkens for two years and found them absolutelyy fine dry or wet and soooo cheap!

I have been steadily pushing it and am impressed. So far they are on par with the Toyo. Think I paid 55 each?

Yes MikeB ,I am most definately up for it,had a great time ,you guys are very welcoming and even my non wedge mate had to agree what a bril weekend you guys host .Still buzzing and I got my first spot on the way home.

Did you not see the for sale notice that Hans had on his car. BRAND NEW 16" split rims for £400.00. That was the set not each!

They were 17"s and they were new style OZ brought in from Germany,he seemed to think he get them to fit a 400 se, but to be honest if you look at them closely they are not in the same league as the original wheels.

Beacon the wheels on the car are the 17 inch OZ wheels. The ones Mike's mentioned is a set 16 inch 400 SE style wheels. There was an advert on the windscreen of my car. They are 7 x 16 which is a bit small for a big Wedge but IMHO they will fit a 350 very nicely. And they are not look-a-likes. The appaerance is the same as the 400 style wheels.

I was looking for wheels too! Aparently though, 7J is the optimum rim size for 225 width tyres according to the bridgestone interwebsite (However, it says anything from 6J to 8.5J will do (I think, best tlook it up though). Shame I didn't see the ad, as I may have taken them off your hands. Now, who was it that had the compomotive split rims, they were only 15", but I'm sure 16" rims would be available. Kinda ferrari-esque, but we'll let that slide...MMMmmm
