Possible new member

I was out and about on the bike the other day and happened upon a fella over near Bedale tinkering with an 83(?) FHC 2+2. We got chatting and I mentioned that this site is really the fountain of all wedge shaped knowledge so there may be a chance he'll log in. Also, I hope you don't mind Wedg1e but I told him that locally, and possibly universally, you are a bit of an expert. He said he may need some advice on getting his motor fettled.
He's now got my copy of 'the Bible' but if he does call in here then please be generous of spirit; he's an awfully nice chap with a potentially lovely motor.

Holy smoke, I wouldn't dare call myself an expert! I keep meeting people on here who know far more than I do... my only contribution is that I won't let something go until I find out everything there is to know about it

Oh, and I won't see anyone ripped off by so-called 'specialists' when a simple fix is all that's required...
