Rev's is a 4.6 bottom end not a SEAC

My HP at flywheel figure is up 2.5 hp from last year, even though the ambiant temperature was alot higher and I was running standard unleaded (92 RON) instead of Optimax as per last year, go figure??

I think more pressure in the tyres could give you that, or better compression on the pistons, I don't suppose you've done compression tests to compare have you. Either was there are so many variables that a 1% or so variation is more than acceptable either way!

Its good to see some power figers up form you RR session and its good to have a comparoson of power figers to the figes i go the Saterday morning of the BBWF of 280 a the fly from out 420 SEAC.
What are you panning to do to the car over winter Rev and Paul it will be interesting to see what changes to the electronics you are going to do and how that afects the power, hopefully for the better.

Probably - heads off, bottom end check, check clutch (as its all out), new ecu, lamba sensors, new induction .. that should do it..

Need to check fueling first I think, then bin everything and start again

I was looking at the TVR quoted figures on Mike B's site earlier,

390 SE V8 3905 cc 275 bhp 270 lbs/ft 1150 kg 144 mph 5.6 sec 14.9 sec
400 SE V8 3948 cc 275 bhp 270 lbs/ft 1150 kg 145 mph 5.6 sec 14.8 sec
420 SE V8 4228 cc 300 bhp 290 lbs/ft 1150 kg n/a n/a n/a
450 SE V8 4441 cc 320 bhp 310 lbs/ft 1150 kg 150 mph 5.2 sec n/a

and Rev and I make less power than the factory quoted 350SE , and from what I remember from last year only PaulG was close to his spec in a 4.3

So TVR must have over estimated, or bench tested them ?
